Hemming Workshop

Are you looking to learn how to shorten and hem your favorite pants, skirts, dresses, and jeans? Or just wish you knew how to fix the undone hem on the dress?

In this workshop, we will provide comprehensive training in both hand and machine hemming techniques. Our workshop is carefully crafted to empower individuals with little to no prior experience, ensuring you gain the confidence and skills needed to create neat hems for various types of garments. In this class, we will create samples of all 5 techniques that you will take home with you to use as a reference in the future. You can bring your garment, get a consultation, and work on it during the workshop if time permits. 

You're going to learn: 

• Two hand-stitching techniques
  
• Two sewing machine hemming techniques
  
• Hemming jeans with original seam
  
• How to choose the right technique for your Item of clothing

Workshop details:

Project: Hemming samples, Hem your item

Duration: 3 hours   

Supplies included: Fabric for hemming samples, threads, all needed tools, sewing machine, and ironing station.

What to bring: Your item of clothing that needs hemming (dress, pants, skirt, shorts), BYOB

Age: 21+

Level: Beginner (no experience required)
