Knitting 101 - Garter Stitch Scarf Workshop

Jump into the world of knitting with this beginner class for someone who has never picked up a set of knitting needles.  

This class is designed for those who are new to the craft of knitting with no prior experience.  In this class you will learn:

• Casting on stitches
• Garter stitch (basic knit stitch)
• Slip stitch
• Casting off
• Weaving in ends

Workshop details:

Project: Garter Stitch Scarf 

Duration: 3 hours   

Supplies included: 2 balls of chunky weight yarn, 1 set of size 13 knitting needles, 1 large plastic needle for weaving in ends

Age: 21+, BYOB

Level: Beginner (no experience required)
